a twist of lime
Carolyn King posted a challenge to her blog (which if you haven’t seen is AWESOME) to make a card using lovely lilac and certainly celery. She also suggested yoyo yellow as an optional color, but I couldn’t seem to work it in here. Nevertheless I decided to combine this with Wednesday’s SCS Sketch Challenge. Using the Tart and Tangy stamp set from the new Occasions Mini Catalog, this is what I came up with. I wasn’t sure how the purple would mesh, but I think it provides a nice balance for the green. The “twist” comes from the grosgrain ribbon tied in the center of the lime.
